VERSE VIRTUAL MUSIC FESTIVAL

 

I have always been an avid live music event goer, and the live music industry was devastatingly impacted by COVID-19. Since 2020, there have been many advancements in the digital space to enhance virtual events. What if there was a virtual music festival specifically created to bring the feelings of a physical event right into your home?

This project was completed as a thesis in late 2020-early 2021 with all of this in mind. Descriptive research was conducted on music festivals, virtual events, music related design, and general graphic design to gain an understanding of how to create the marketing, branding, and design of a virtual music festival.

The end result is the marketing and branding of VERSE – a virtual music festival event that aims to create the environment of a live music festival in a virtual setting. The result includes a brand identity, print pieces, merchandise, digital design and a brand extension.
